Introductory Woodworking

About this course:
The Introductory Woodworking course is great for those with little or no woodworking experience. Participants make a unique A4 size Document/Jewellery Box from a range of different Australian and imported hardwoods. During the course we provide lots of information about setting up your own workshop at home.

Workshop induction and safety *
Marking out
Selecting and dressing timber
Safety and correct use of hand tools
Safety and correct use of power tools and machines
Adhesives
Abrasives
Finishing techniques

Course Length:
6 Hours (2 x 3 hr sessions)
