David Haig returns to Perth in 2012

In May of 2011 Perth Wood School ran a six day course in steam bent furniture making.  Twelve people were lucky enough to take the time to learn from a truly extraordinary craftsman and lecturer while building a beautiful stool from solid English oak.  David works from his home workshop in Nelson New Zealand where he creates amazing furniture designs that sell throughout the world.  He also travels to the US each year to lecture at the Centre for Furniture Craftsmanship in Maine.  We are very excited to announce that David will come to Perth Wood School again this year to present another course in steam bending.  This year the six full day course will be conducted in August starting on Monday the 20th.  The course fee is $1350 however this course is now fully booked with a waiting list.  We have had huge interest in the course. If you are interested in this very unique furniture making technique and learning from a truly world class lecturer in 2013 please contact us with expressions of interest for next year.  For more about David click on www.davidhaig.co.nz
