Up & Coming Courses & Events Advanced Routering with Tom O'Donnell: Perth Wood School will once again be hosting Router Workshops, run by Tom O’Donnell. This course is specifically designed to show customers how much more can be accomplished using the router. Many would of heard of Tom and the amazing things he can do with a router. The session will incorporate the safest way in which to use the router, the use of the template guide, different templates and types of jigs, and simple project ideas. Professional Development Days: After finding very strong demand in 2008, Perth Wood School will continue to run a series of highly relevant Professional Development days specifically designed for Design & Technology Teachers. All courses are run by experts, and designed so teachers can immediately use what they have learnt with their students. Contact us for more details. 6 Day Intensive Course: We will be hosting a 6 Day Intensive Furniture Construction course. The l focus will be on advanced woodwork techniques. Catriona Gregg, an accomplished designer-maker will present the course. Graduating from the John Makepeace School for Craftsmen in Wood (UK) in 1985, and following graduation from the Makepeace School in 1986, Catriona worked in London designing bespoke furniture, corporate and luxury yacht interiors.
